An opening night celebration with symphonic masterpieces

Celebrate with Mercury as we return to the Wortham Center with Brahms and Mendelssohn. Brahms’ bold Third Symphony, a work of deep reflection, showcases the composer at his pinnacle while Mendelssohn’s Third, a reflection on the landscapes of Scotland, is a work without compare – sparkling, dreamy, and lyrical.

This concert is made possible in part by the Houston Endowment and the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.
