Tango heat and serene counterpoint in a multimedia experience!
Back by popular demand, Tango Boreal (bandoneonist Denis Plante and guitarist David Jacques) rejoins Mercury under the baton of Antoine Plante, Artistic Director, for a unique multimedia orchestral experience that combines the seductive tango with the perfection of J.S. Bach. Blending the Tango Nuevo heat of Piazzolla and the serene counterpoint in Bach’s Art of the Fugue, the performance is heightened by dramatic lighting and projected images. This Mercury experience will make you dance, body and soul.
This concert is produced by the University of Houston Clear Lake, tickets are available through UHCL Cultural Arts.
