MATCHING GIFTS

Double the impact of your gift to Mercury with a matching gift from your company.  Contact your Human Resources Department to see if your gift will qualify for a match.


RECURRING GIFTS

Take the hassle out of giving by setting up a recurring gift to Mercury! It’s easy to do, just call us at 713.533.0080 and tell us how frequently you'd like to donate - monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or whatever you prefer - and how much you'd like to give.  You can adjust your gift at any time.


SHOP ON AMAZON SMILE

You can support Mercury whenever you shop on Amazon.  Select The Mercury Baroque Ensemble as your charitable organization to support on AmazonSmile and then just start your shopping at smile.amazon.com and a percentage of your purchases will be donated to Mercury!


TCA: STATE OF THE ARTS

When you register your car be sure to choose a State of the Arts license plate supporting the Texas Commission on the Arts and, indirectly, Mercury.  This option costs $30 in addition to your regular registration fee and the Texas Commission on the Arts receives $22 for each plate sold or renewed. Revenue generated from the sale of State of the Arts license plates is used to fund arts and cultural programs across Texas, including Mercury.  Show your support ofMercury and all of Texas' vibrant and unique culture with TCA's State of the Arts plate today.  


GIFTS OF STOCK: APPRECIATED SECURITIES

Making a gift of stock to Mercury can make a wonderful difference for the organization you love.  Please follow these easy steps:

Step 1

You or your broker can transfer the stock to Mercury’s brokerage account at E*TRADE. Mercury’s account number is 69925141. For wire transfers, the DTC Number is 0385.  Mercury’s federal tax ID is 76-0663007.

Step 2

Notify Mercury of the specifics of your transfer – including your name, the name of the stock transferred, and the number of shares.  This ensures that you receive your tax receipt in a timely matter.  Please send notification to Kade Smith, Development Director, at kade@mercuryhouston.org or 713.533.0080.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS

Houston corporations can invest in the community and build brand awareness by sponsoring a Mercury concert.  Sponsorships are customized to each corporation, with benefits that include tickets to the performance and invitations to a post-concert reception.  Please contact Kade Smith, Development Director, at kade@mercuryhouston.org or 713.533.0080 to inquire about a corporate sponsorship.

VOLUNTEER

Mercury engages volunteers at concerts, in the office, and at other special events.  If you would like to support Mercury in a fun, unique way, consider volunteering!

Seven ways you can help Mercury as a volunteer:

  • Support staff at concerts in the box office or at the marketing table
  • Host and/or transport visiting musicians
  • Attend and assist at special events
  • Grass-roots marketing for Mercury  
  • Offer pro-bono professional support
  • Provide administrative support in the Mercury office
  • Assist fundraising campaigns (phone calls, stuffing envelopes, etc.)
